- ★ ★ ★ ☆ ☆The staff is always very nice. The accounts are free, which is the reason we chose Tennessee State Bank. However, with the free accounts, you're losing quite a bit. If you have a problem after business hours or on the weekend, you're just plain out of luck. They still are not using/providing EMV cards. Again everyone is very nice, which is great - but if you have a problem and are unable to contact anyone outside of normal business hours, niceties only go so far. The last time that I had a problem on a weekend and was unable to reach anyone for 2-3 days I almost changed banks, but opted against it because everything was resolved by that Tuesday. This time, I realize the only true resolution is to find a financial institution that has some sort of 24/7 support.By Larissa Brensinger, November 24, 2016
